The Burpees4Babies challenge sees men, women and children coming together in gyms across the country to raise money one burpee at a time.
The participants are sponsored an amount per burpee they complete to go towards the babies.
For those of you who do not know what a burpee is: stand upright, fall to your hands and knees, lower yourself push-up style to the floor, raise yourself again and return to the upright position.
Now repeat this until you feel like crying.

Even Ballito’s Mad Dog cage fighter Amanda Lino and the ladies from KO Fighting were there to do their part.
When all was said and done and the arms and legs could not stand it anymore, 7586 burpees had been performed in Pulse and R55 323 raised.
Bob’s Bootcamp also help a Burpees4Babies challenge last week and raised R2150.
Pulse’s Dina Crichton said the money raised would be used to buy necessities for homes and creches in desperate need.
