Karate gold for iLembe at SALGA Games
iLembe put on a solid performance to finish fifth overall with five medals, while the karate contact team brought back the sole team gold medal.
iLembe’s karate contact team brought home a well earned gold medal from the recent SALGA Games.
Held by King Cetshwayo District this year, the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) Games saw the province’s 11 district municipalities facing off across a number of sporting codes.
iLembe put on a solid performance to finish fifth overall with five medals, while the karate contact team brought back the sole team gold medal.
eThekwini dominated the games to finish in first place, while uMzinyathi and King Cetshwayo filled out the podium positions.
