Running against the beer o’clock

A rousing welcome at RocoMamas and some dance moves on show at Conchilla proved the highlight of the afternoon.

The Dolphin Coast Striders rung in the festive season like only athletes would – taking the ‘run’ part of pub run seriously!

Over the course of a recent afternoon (and into the late hours after) a well-supported group of runners consumed some different liquids other than the usual water when running between a selection of Ballito pubs.

Dressed in their best Christmas garb, the runners made pit stops at RocoMamas, Mozambik, HOPS, Beachwood and Conchilla.

Leah Acampora and Nadia Habig pounded the road as a pair of Christmas decorations.

A rousing welcome at RocoMamas and some dance moves on show at Conchilla proved the highlight of the afternoon.

Overall, the group still managed to run an impressive total distance, all things considered, of just under 10km.
