Durban ice rink returns to life

After a massive renovation, the Durban Ice Rink will be open for action once again.

If you were a child growing up in Durban, you would have spent a few hours skating around and around at the Durban Ice Rink.

For more than a year and a half now, the Durban Ice Rink has been closed for renovations.

It has now been restored and will open its doors this coming week, on Thursday, September 24.

Now everyone can enjoy weekends at the international size ice arena with state of the art refrigeration.

There are three sessions a day over the weekends and you pay per person.

Professional and enthusiastic skaters can stock up on ice skates, ice hockey skates, figure skating dresses and more equipment at the new skate shop that will also be opening.

For more information regarding session times and prices, please visit www.durbanicearena.co.za or call 031 332 4597.
