Help your child make cute bottle-top flowers for Father’s Day

When it comes to Father’s Day, kids love creating truly personal gifts. These pretty bottle-top flowers will put a smile on dad's face.

Recycled crafts are both fun and educational and even double as a great gift for Father’s Day. Help your child make these fun bottle-top flowers to add to dad’s present.

You will need:

  • 7 bottle tops will make one flower
  • Dowelling
  • Old jar lids
  • Glue gun (or quick-dry glue)
  • Paints and brushes

How to make it:

  • Glue a bottle cap to the centre of a jar lid.
  • Glue the rest around the outside edge of the jar lid to create a flower. Stick the dowelling to the back of the lid.
  • Paint the petals and plant the flower in your garden.
