Manase Report meeting
FOR more than a year council has refused to release the complete, unedited version of the Manase Report. Due to exerted pressure from various political parties, the full report was released recently.
The report, all 7051 pages, will be made available to residents of North Durban. That’s according to DA ward councillor, Dean Macpherson, who is holding a public meeting on 26 August at 6.30pm at the Crusaders Sports Club, (Ranleigh Crescent).
“We will be giving each person their own copy of the report on DVD.
”The DA has campaigned for the release of the document for more than a year and we would like to lift the lid on the corruption and nepotism within the eThekwini Municipality. There will be two other guest speakers namely, DA eThekwini caucus leader, Zwakele Mncwango, and DA shadow minister, John Steenhuisen.
