Jenna places sixth at world champs

uMhlanga trained fitness queen shines in Prague.

THERE’S no rest for a fitness athlete. Just ask bikini queen Jenna Lithgow, who took sixth place in the Bikini Olympia World Championships in Prague recently.

After winning the KZN Championships (beach bikini tall class division) and the IFBB National Championships earlier in the year, the uMhlanga trained athlete said the competition was extremely tough.

“My goal is to always place first but I’m super stoked with placing in the top 10 as this was my first Olympia competition. My plan is always to step up in each competition and improve, whether I compete locally or internationally,” she said.

Lithgow added every competition she takes part in is a learning curve.

“I have been blessed to have been selected for many international shows, which has helped me gain a lot experience and exposure. I strive to lift my standard each time.”

The 24-year-old is now gearing-up for her second Arnold Classic competition in Ohio, America. “I placed seventh in the previous Classic and my aim is to better this result. I have the right team behind me to place at the top,” she said.
