Waves of fun at surf fest
Gear up for summer fun at the uMhlanga surf festival.
THE annual uMhlanga Lizzard Nature Valley summer surf festival will take place on December 7 and 8 at the uMhlanga Rocks main beach.
This year’s surf contest looks set to be a grand affair with close on R50 000 on offer in prizes and give aways. Both surfers and beach-goers will be treated to many interesting surprizes and treats for the duration of the weekend.
Lizzard team manager Gavin Roberts said he was looking forward to the event. “We have surfers from all over the country taking part and uMhlanga Beach is one of the prime venues with the great amenities. Families always have a memorable weekend especially because Moms and Dads can surf with their kids,” he said.
