Wind down at biggest beach party

Big beach party is set to make Durban’s shores sizzle.

SOUTH Africa’s biggest beach party, the Aquafest Summer Edition 2013, powered by Vodacom, is set to make Durban’s shores sizzle on 22 December at Durban’s New Beach. It is an all-day, all-night party of a lifetime.

“Aquafest 2013 is to be bigger and better than 2012,” event organiser, Brendon Kader, said.

“Aquafest, Durban’s Premier Beach Party and the only beach party in South Africa will feature some of SA’s biggest DJs.”

With two massive dance areas, some of South Africa’s hottest artists and DJs will be steaming up the heat in an already sweltering Durban atmosphere. According to Kader, this promises to be one of the biggest parties to hit South Africa in 2013.

“As many as 15 000 party-goers are expected at the party,” Kader said. “Get ready to party till you drop at Durban’s North Beach, this December.”

Event sponsor, Vodacom, will promote its Red Plan, which offers limitless talk, limitless text and loads of internet.

Vodacom believes that whilst promoting local talent, events such as these allow the youth to wind down from an eventful year, in a safe environment.

“South Africa has a huge cache of talent, many of which is as yet untapped. Events such as the Aquafest Summer Edition allow corporates like Vodacom an opportunity to expose such talents,” said Alberts Breed, managing executive: Vodacom KwaZulu-Natal.

Tickets for the event can be purchased from Computicket, and there will be limited tickets available on the day at the on-site ticket office.
