Nine men armed with pistols surround car and rob casino patron of his winnings.

A MAN was followed from a local casino and robbed by an armed gang of his weapon and his winnings totalling R21 000. The  incident occurred last Wednesday (15 October) at about 10pm. The man, who was on his way home from Sibaya Casino,  had taken the uMdloti offramp when a white BMW pulled along side him at the stop street.

“Nine men armed with pistols jumped out of the cars and approached the driver. They ordered him to get out of the vehicle and grabbed his 9mm parabellum with 16 rounds of ammunition and his winnings from the casino. They then jumped back into their vehicles and sped off in the southerly direction,” he said.
