Motorist dies after colliding with a tree in Glen Hills.

A MAN believed to be in his fifties was killed when his bakkie collided with a tree on Longwoods Drive in Glen Hills on Sunday night.

Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen said the man was declared dead on scene.

“It’s unclear what caused the man to lose control of the vehicle causing it to collide into the tree.  Unfortunately he suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival by paramedics,”

He added police, who were also on scene, were investigating the incident further.
