Four-car collision near Queen Nandi Drive

Mystery surrounds an accident that occurred on the N2 on Sunday night.

NO one was injured after a four-car pile-up on the N2 near Queen Nandi Drive on Sunday night just after 10pm.  According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, the drivers, who left the scene of the accident, were located at a service station down the road.

“Four vehicles had collided, sustaining substantial damages; however all four vehicles had been abandoned with the drivers nowhere in sight. A search was conducted with the combined efforts of all services on scene. Three of the four drivers were located a few hundred metres down the road near a service station, with the fourth driver still unaccounted for.

“Remarkably, none of the drivers were injured. The reasons for them fleeing the scene are unknown and the necessary authorities are investigating the incident further.
