A VEHICLE burst into flames on Umhlanga Rocks Drive near Somerset Park on Thursday evening. No one was injured in the blaze, confirmed Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 7pm to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. Luckily the driver and only occupant escaped unharmed. He was assessed on scene and given a clean bill of health.

“Thanks to the swift action of the Ethekwini Fire and Rescue members, the fire was quickly extinguished. The cause of the incident is unknown,” he said.
