Two injured in high-speed Glen Anil crash

A traffic light was taken out in the high-speed crash which involved two vehicles.

TWO men aged in their 30s were injured in a high-speed collision in Glen Anil, north of Durban on Wednesday afternoon. Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen said the police will be investigating the accident.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a small delivery vehicle lost control at high speed at the intersection of the R102 and the P585 shortly before 2pm, knocking over a traffic light before colliding with a second vehicle. The driver and occupant of the delivery vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were attended to on scene before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital,” he said.

Yesterday a 25-year-old woman was seriously injured after a truck ploughed into her vehicle on North Coast Road.
