Shots fired in uMhlanga Ridge attempted robbery
The security guard opened fire on the suspects after he was attacked.
AN alert security guard foiled an attempted robbery at a car dealership in uMhlanga Ridge on Tuesday night. It’s believed the men tried to rob a Subaru dealership on Jubilee Grove.
According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the security guard was attacked by the suspects.
“The suspects attacked the security guard on site who opened fire to defend himself. No injuries were reported and the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle. Marshall Security were alerted to the incident and assisted the guard from another local security company. The Durban North SAPS are looking for the suspects,” he said.
