Pregnant woman injured in M41 crash

The expecting mother sustained moderate injuries.

A PREGNANT woman sustained moderate injuries in an accident on the M41 near the N2 off-ramp in Umhlanga Ridge earlier today.

According to Athlenda Mathe, Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, two vehicles were involved in the rear-end crash.

“When paramedics arrived on scene we found the pregnant woman had sustained moderate injuries. Paramedics managed to stabilise the 35-year-old woman on scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital,” she said.
