Armed suspects storm home

The homeowner's car, an Audi A6, was also stolen during the break-in.

A GANG of armed men stormed a house on Station Ridge Road on Thursday night. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the group stole a number of items, including the homeowner’s car, and no one was at home at the time of the robbery.

“The incident occurred at about 8pm. The suspects forced open the pedestrian gate to the property and then the front door. They stole two flat-screen TVs and two jewellery boxes. The suspects also took the homeowner’s car, an Audi A6 2008 model, which was not fitted with a tracking device.

“The homeowner’s domestic worker was on site at the time of the break-in but thankfully no one was injured in the incident. It’s believed the alarm wasn’t armed,” he said.
