Criminals target Redhill business

Several laptops were taken in the robbery of a business on North Coast Road.

A REDHILL business was broken into on Saturday morning at about 5.30am. The door to the business, situated on North Coast Road, was forced in according to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen.

“Our reaction officers noticed that the suspects had forced entry into the premises through a security gate. Unfortunately the suspects fled the scene prior to our teams arrival. The business owner reports that several laptops, as well as an undisclosed amount of money was taken in the robbery. The scene was handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation,” he said.

The break-in comes just a week after two uMhlanga businesses were robbed just an hour apart by two gangs who stole a number of electronic equipment, including laptops and TVs.
