Armed gang ransack Durban North home

The domestic worker ran for help after the armed men robbed the home.

FOUR armed men robbed a Durban North home just before lunchtime on Tuesday. The domestic worker, who was at home at the time, was held up. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the domestic worker ran for help as the gang were leaving. She informed a member of the public that there was a robbery at the home where she was working on Machusla Drive.

The incident occurred at about 11.40am.

“The armed gang cut the driveway gate locks and reversed their vehicle onto the property. They held up the domestic worker at gunpoint before fleeing with two flat screen TV’s and other items. She was extremely traumatised by the incident and was unable to describe the suspect’s vehicle,” he said.
