Recovered bicycles remain unclaimed

Police have urged the community to reclaim their stolen property at the Greenwood Park Police Station.

OVER 25 recovered bicycles remain unclaimed at the Greenwood Park Police Station, and police have urged the community to come and reclaim their stolen goods.

According to W/O Leon Audh, spokesman for the station, a syndicate is operating in the area.

“During the course of the last financial year and the current, various bicycles were recovered in our area. Although many bicycles were claimed there are just as many that are still not. We appeal to the community to please come to the station to try and identify your bicycle if it was stolen recently,” he said.

Residents will be required to provide proof of ownership as well as mention some form of identification marks on their property, added Audh.
