Chaos on North Coast Road after two buses collide this morning.

THIRTY people have been injured after two buses collided on Chris Hani Road (North Coast Road) just before the N2. Several paramedics services are currently on scene. According to Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha, traffic has been severely affected on the N2.

“The accident occurred near on Chris Hani Road (near the N2) and the impact of the collision led to the roof of one of the buses being shorn off. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed and traffic severely backed up for kilometres. After triaging the injured it was found that twenty people had sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor, although some was removed before our arrival. Exact detail to the cause of the crash will however remain a subject for police comment,” he said.
