THE damage and devastation from last week’s heavy rains are still affecting residents throughout the eThekwini Municipality.

Dave Richter, and fellow Sunningdale residents are unable to access their post after one of the post box units in the Sunningdale Park was blown over during the storm.

According to Richter the unit is too heavy to be lifted upright.

“I need to check the post for bills to pay but can’t get in. The units front legs are still bolted to the concrete base platform but the back legs are detached and in the air,” he said.
