Man injured as car rolls on Waterkant Road

When paramedics arrived at the scene the driver was lying next to the inverted vehicle.

ONE person was injured when a vehicle rolled on Waterkant Road in Durban North a few hours ago.

According to Neil Powell, of Crisis Medical, paramedics arrived at the scene to find the vehicle lying on its roof with the driver lying next to it.

“Paramedics worked together to stabilise the driver, a 33-year-old man who sustained minor injuries, before transporting him to hospital,” he said.

“We would like to extend thanks to Tim Kidgell, a bystander, who assisted paramedics in keeping the patient calm and tending to him as soon as he heard the collision,” added Powell.

He said the cause of the crash is still unclear at this stage.
