Two injured in Sibaya crash

Paramedics treated two men that were seriously injured at the scene.

TWO people were seriously injured after a collision between two vehicles on the N2 (northbound), near the Sibaya Casino off-ramp. According to Chris Botha, Netcare 911 spokesman, a bakkie and a trailer overturned. The incident occurred at about 3.20pm.

“Paramedics responded to a collision  near the Sibaya Casino off ramp. They found that a bakkie and a trailer overturned, its twisted frame and accident debris littering the highway. Paramedics treated two men that were seriously injured at the scene before they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required. Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will form part of the police investigation,” he said.
