THROUGH every kilometre your drive you could be raising funds for the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL). The non-profit group has partnered up with the Litres For Education initiative to launch the fundraising initiative whereby the public can support the cause by simply filling up their tank.

For every litre you purchase 10 cents will be donated to the AACL.

“This new and exciting partnership will help drive the money you spend on petrol to further AACL’s local communities’ education programme on the care and protection of animals,” said Judi Gibson, the general manager at the AACL Durban branch.

When you fill up your vehicle at one of the participating petrol stations, show the attendant the AACL donor disc or quote the donor number 819 and ensure that the attendant writes the sale in the Litres for Education book.

The local participating petrol stations include, BP La Lucia on Umhlanga Rocks Drive and BP Sibaya, on the M4 Ruth First Highway.
