Armed men storm highway restaurant

Armed men stormed a restaurant at Queen Nandi’ s Petroport just after midnight last night.

SAPS Spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane, confirmed that three armed men entered the shop and demanded cash and valuables from customers. An employee was assaulted with a firearm at the back of her neck.

Suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money. No arrests have been made. Investigations continue.
