WATCH: DA walks out over JZ783 comments

Parliament descends into chaos after Jacob Zuma corruption reference.

A DEBATE on 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children descended into anarchy in the National Assembly on Tuesday as the Democratic Alliance (DA) staged a walkout.

The incident occurred after the DA’s Denise Robinson referred to President Jacob Zuma as JZ-783 (a reference to the 783 corruption charges President could face).

Speaker Baleka Mbete ordered Robinson to withdraw her comment or leave the House which prompted a walkout by the party.
