Five injured in N2 rollover

Three children, aged 14, six and eight were flung from the vehicle in the accident.

FIVE people were injured in an accident on the N2 near eMdloti on Tuesday afternoon. According to Netcare 911’s Chris Botha, three children who were involved in the accident, were flung out of the vehicle in the rollover

“Reports from the scene indicate that the bakkie with five people was traveling in the north bound lane when the rear tyre blew out. When paramedics arrived we found the canopy of the vehicle broken up and some of the passengers were thrown from the vehicle.

“A boy aged 14, two girls aged six and eight and two adults sustained serious injuries. The injured were treated at the scene before medics transported them to various hospitals,” he said.
