Thief breaks into St Michael’s Church

The thief took a computer and hard drive, valued at approximately R12 600.

POLICE are looking for a thief who broke into St Michael’s  Church on Blackburn Road on Friday. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the thief had broken into the church at about 3.50am. He added it was unclear how many suspects were involved in the robbery.

“The suspect/s climbed up the roof at the back, broke a burglar bar and forced a window open, gaining entry into the office section. They took a computer and hard drive, valued at approximately R12 600,” he said.
