WATCH: Humphrey raises R150 000 for SPCA

Humphrey lends a helping paw to the Durban & Coast SPCA.

THERE is no stopping Humphrey’s winning attitude. The local hound, who has reached celebrity status in uMhlanga recently raised R150 000 for the Durban & Coast SPCA. His owner, Alwyn Immerman, thanked all those who donated to the cause and urged residents to pop by for a visit.

Humphrey’s workday starts at 8am every Thursday when the uMhlanga Medisport Pharmacy open its doors. He trots to the top of the stairs near the skin care section and immediately sets about winning the hearts and minds of all and sundry.

“I adopted Humphrey from the SPCA and I’m just blown away by the support he has received. He knows how much each donation means and we are incredibly thankful. He’s a special boy and he will always have a special place in his heart for the SPCA. It’s so heartwarming to see such a wonderful response and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved,” Alwyn said.
