FIVE people were injured after a head-on-collision on Waterkant Road just after 1pm on Friday. Netcare 911 spokesman, Athlenda Mathe said.

“Five people sustained minor injuries after a delivery truck and a vehicle collided head-on. Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside another emergency services on scene. A father and a son who were treated and transported by paramedics from another service. The three occupants of the delivery truck were assessed by paramedics and transported privately to a nearby hospital,” she said.

Mathe said it was unclear what caused the accident.
