THE severely decomposed body of a 31-year-old woman was found wrapped in white linen in a stream in Avoca earlier today. Members from the Durban Search and Rescue, along with IPSS Medical Resuce and the divisional commander of water policing were called out to the scene where the body was discovered.

According to Kyle van Reenen of Marshall Security, a murder docket was opened.

“The severely decomposed body was found in a stream along Matheran Road Avoca. The victim has been identified and is 31-years-old. She was recently reported missing by her boyfriend,” he said.
