Demolition continues tomorrow alongside N2

Motorists were affected this morning by the demolition of a temporary structure at the Mt Edgecombe Interchange.

SANRAL confirmed that controlled demolitions will take place tomorrow next to the N2 southbound carriageway. According to the agency,  the demolitions will take place between 9am and 1pm.

The agency said, “We would like to notify  travellers that there will be demolition of temporary structures on Thursday, 16 February, between 9am and 1pm adjacent to the N2 south bound carriage way. These demolitions will not interfere with or effect the flow of traffic along the N2 south bound carriage way.”

Construction of the Cornubia Mixed-Use Development project began in 2013. The project is a joint effort between the eThekwini Municipality and Tongaat Hulett.
