Armed gang rob Redhill family at gunpoint

"The children ran and locked themselves in one of the bedrooms in attempt to hide from the suspects."

ARMED robbers burst into a home in Redhill and held up a family and their domestic worker at gunpoint this afternoon. Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said a gang of four robbers, three of them armed with firearms, held up a domestic worker, a grandmother and her grandchildren in a home invasion in Duffy Crescent at around 2.40pm.

“The children ran and locked themselves in one of the bedrooms in attempt to hide from the suspects but the gang bashed down the door as they ransacked the rooms of the house. They fled with three televisions, jewellery, cash, cellphones and goods. No injuries were reported,” Jackson said.

Jackson said the gang fled the scene in a white Audi 3.
