WATCH: Arnold releases large python into pristine habitat

The large reptile had recently killed a goat in Osindisweni.

A FEW days after capturing a large Southern African python in Osindisweni, north of Durban, Sunningdale resident Jason Arnold has finally released the large reptile into a habitat away from the village where he was originally found. Arnold had rescued the snake after it killed a goat and the serpent was at risk of being killed by the community.

He recently took to his Facebook page, Universal Reptiles to film the release of the python. The video has already been viewed more than 4 000 times. It comes a day after a large python was spotted at a golf course on the north coast.
