SOCIAL media has recently been ‘lit-up’ by a brand new craze. This time people were sharing a short video showcasing LED flashing eye lashes.

While there is no word of when these eye-catching lashes will be available in South Africa the video has accumulated over five million views and 16 thousand shares.

The lashes, which can be adhered to the eyelid with ordinary lash glue, are battery operated. Small wires run from the lashes to the controller, which can be clipped to the back of the head.

The battery lasts for up to four hours on a charge, and the lashes are re-wearable.
