Glenashley family robbed by armed men

The suspects were spotted fleeing in a silver Mercedes-Benz.

SIX men, some of whom were armed, held up a Glenashley family on Tuesday night. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the incident occurred just after 6pm on Lynn Avenue.

“The suspects derailed the gate to gain access into the home. The suspects then entered the home and held up the family at gunpoint. The men fled with an Apple MacBook pro and a flat screen television. The suspects were spotted fleeing in a silver Mercedes-Benz, unfortunately there was no registration given. A case has been opened with the Durban North SAPS,” he said.

The suspects are still at large.
