THE municipality says it will enforce a planned power outage for Virginia on Thursday. City spokesperson Tozi Mthetwa explained the outage will be from 8am to 4pm.

“The planned power outage is due to powerline maintenance and changing the electricity poles, which will affect parts of Norrie Avenue, in Virginia. We profusely apologise for the interruption in service,” she said.

Last month a widespread power outage affected several parts of the City due to a problem Klaarwater Power Station.
