WATCH: Incredible drone footage of whales having fun in eMdloti

The video which was uploaded to YouTube has already amassed an incredible 13 000 views.

LOCAL resident Richard Melvill is no stranger to capturing breathtaking footage of whales and dolphins off the coast of eMdloti. Last week he captured three Humpback whales playing in eMdloti’s waters. The video which was uploaded to Melvill’s YouTube account has already amassed an incredible 13 000 views.

Northglen News caught up with Melville who said eMdloti is the most beautiful part of the province.

“eMdloti is the most beautiful part of KZN in my opinion and I am very lucky to get to live here and see things like this on a regular basis,” he said.

“It’s been so awesome to see videos like this and my dolphin videos get a lot of attention when most of the news that goes viral is not very positive especially after the crime stats were released,” he said.

Melvill has captured some amazing footage off eMdloti’s beach. In July Melvill captured drone footage of a pod of dolphins surfing in eMdloti.
