Support DHS Old Boys inaugural event

The event is open to both runners and walkers.

DHS Old Boys Athletics Club has urged the community to get behind their upcoming 10km community event at Crusaders Sports Club. Speaking to Northglen News, Jasson Urbach, race committee chairman said he hoped the community would get behind the new event.

“The event is open to both runners and walkers and we just want to encourage as many people to come out and support the event as possible. There is a nice flat field for the event and it’s just a great way to get the community out and active behind our event,” he said.

Club chairman, Sean De Groot concurred with Urbach’s comments.

“After being in existence as a club for just over 20 years, DHS Old Boys are extremely excited to be giving back to the running community and hosting a race for the first time. We look forward to welcoming a full field for an enjoyable, fast yet challenging 10km course and some socialising on the fields and in the clubhouse afterwards,” he said.
