Motorist attacked and stabbed on N2
According to paramedics, the motorist was in a serious condition.

A MAN in his 40s was stabbed and attacked on the N2 freeway after his vehicle broke down on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred shortly after 8.4opm (N2 southbound) near Westwood Mall.
According to Rescue Care paramedics spokesman, Garrith Jamieson, the victim was stabbed once in the upper part of his body.

“It appears the motorist had broken down and was attacked and stabbed. It’s unclear how many suspects were involved. When we arrived we found the man in his 40s in a serious condition. He was treated by paramedics and transferred to hospital,” he said.
Details surrounding the incident are unclear and officers from the Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) were on scene investigating the crime.
