SASSA grant issue resolved, says Post Office

Beneficiaries who did not get monies into their accounts as a result of file processing interruptions have been identified and the grants have been deposited into their accounts.

THE SA Post Office says the problems experienced with the withdrawal of some Sassa grants yesterday have been resolved.

According to a media statement, all failed transactions have been reversed and the funds are available in the affected accounts.

“Beneficiaries who did not get monies into their accounts as a result of file processing interruptions have been identified and the grants have been processed into their accounts. The root cause of dropping of transactions was the large process volumes,” said Post Office spokesperson, Nobuhle Njapha.
