VIDEO: Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market presents Toys for Boys
Looking for something to do this weekend? The Toys for Boys market will feature exhibitions from several notable companies appealing to adventurers, tech-lovers, and casual dads.

The team behind the Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market has been kept extremely busy behind the scenes, doing their best to provide members of the public with a monthly market to remember.
On Sunday the 7th of April, BCAM presents Toys for Boys (https://bit.ly/2HIWMiB).
In addition to the usual market space, this event will feature exhibitions from several notable companies appealing to adventurers, tech-lovers, and casual dads. Headlining the event is the Land Rover Terrapod.
This mobile, man-made tracks and terrain is used to demonstrate the capability of Land Rovers. By using hydraulic systems, the vehicle and passengers can be elevated to a height of 5.7m to deliver a great off-road driving experience.

Associate sponsors for this event are Racetech Yamaha Jetskis and Perry Bikes.
They will be showcasing their unique vehicles from 9am-4pm. 4×4 Mega World will also be showing off their unique vehicle accessories. If you’re more of a cyclist, then be prepared for mountain bike demos through some of the most beautiful routes in KZN.
Kite surfers from Ocean2air will be in the water showing off their skills, so for a change wind is welcome! Other notable exhibitors include Toys in SA, Harley Davidson, Ballito Radio Control Club, Big Green Egg, and Umhlanga Auto Accessory. Categorically, Toys for Boys does not mean that BCAM is catering exclusively for men this weekend! Exhibitors join the new and returning vendors, who help the market retain its overall essence every month (https://www.blythedale.co.za/adventure-market/).

For those arriving early, the Blythedale Café is serving an aromatic selection of ground coffees.
They’ll be open all day for those craving a much-needed caffeine boost. If you’re one of those guests who requires drinks with a little more zing, alcoholic beverages will be served all day at the Beach Bar. This area, located beneath the canopy of coastal forest, spills out onto the beach. Milton, our resident acoustic guitarist, keeps the festivity flowing, even when the drinks run dry.
Kids will be kept entertained by an absolute abundance of awesome activities. From inflatables and waterslides, to quad bike rides and a paintball range, every kid is sure to have an adventure. There are even whisperings of a Nerf Gun Battle Arena coming soon. Keep your eyes peeled this month or next, because those things are fun.
The Seaview Marquee sees the return of popular band, 2 Unique, fresh off the back of their recent victory at Galleria Mall’s Battle of the Bands.
This talented duo covers a wide range of chilled music, including R&B, soft rock, reggae and jazz. Heidi’s Hospitality and Events Catering takes charge here, providing an excellent range of speciality cuisine and craft beverages. They’ve grown with the market, and represent the quality that every vendor displays consistently. A comprehensive decorative and wearable arts & crafts section can be found close to the food vendors.

For those feeling extra-adventurous, one of the most recent additions to the market space is the Blythedale Campsite (BCAMP).
The tents come with two single beds and a dressing table, with full access to barista-quality beverages at the coffee shop. Full bathroom facilities are accessible, and the showers even have hot water. The campsite is open Friday and Saturday every week, and the costs are R500 per tent per night, equating to R250 per person. Email bron@elan.co.za for more information.
The Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market is located at the prestigious Blythedale Coastal Estate. This one-of-a-kind North Coast market has wowed thousands of visitors since its launch on the 4th of November last year. Over 80 vendors, exhibitors and activities entertain people of all ages, from all over KZN, on the first Sunday of every month. From live music and beach bars, to nature trails and an all-inclusive craft and food market, BCAM has something for everyone. Open this Sunday, the 7th of April, from 9am-4pm. Don’t miss out on this epic adventure.
