The men fled on foot and no arrests have yet been made, confirmed Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS.

“This is the sixth robbery in recent weeks in and around north Durban. The incidents have been scattered across our policing precinct but the robbers normally target lone pedestrians late at night or in the early hours of the morning. We are urging pedestrians, residents and visitors, where possible, to walk in groups,” he said.
