Fellow South Africans wait in anticipation to hear what former presidents has to say at the State Capture Inquiry.

THOUSANDS tuned in to hear what former president Jacob Zuma has to say as he took to the stand at the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture this morning.

Opting to address judge Raymond Zondo before being questioned by advocate Joseph Pretorius, Zuma said there had been a long standing plan to have him removed which he says finally succeeded when he resigned as president on February 14, 2018.

Numerous witnesses testifying before the commission have linked the former president to corruption.

Twitter is abuzz with numerous Tweets relating to Zuma and his appearance.

Yesterday the former president posted a Tweet where Zuma mocks the famous “Zuma must fall” chant that went viral during a nationwide demonstration against him in 2016.

Tweets have been pouring in since the video was shared yesterday.
