Two injured in Sunningdale crash

Both patients were taken to hospital under supervision of an emergency care practioner.

PARAMEDICS had to use the jaws of life to free a patient after two people were left seriously injured following a collision in Sunningdale this morning.

“Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find a male patient entrapped in the wreckage of his vehicle. Rescue technicians from Metro Police used the jaws of life to cut the man free,” said Emer-G-Med spokesperson, Kyle van Reenen.

Both patients were transported to hospital for further care.
