Umhlanga tourism, hospitality fair to address concerns

The fair is also an opportunity for those attending to also take a look at what suppliers to the industry have on offer.

IF you’re in the tourism industry, specifically owning or managing a Bed and Breakfast, guesthouse, Air BnB and the like, the Umhlanga Tourism Hospitality Fair may be of interest to you.

The host is Umhlanga Tourism who are looking for establishments of this kind to come and engage with City departments such as business licensing, architect and town planning, Durban Tourism and Economic Development, Tourism, Environmental Affairs.

“There will be spot prizes and samples from suppliers. Existing Umhlanga Tourism members will also attend to discuss concerns with some departments of municipality who will be present. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions should you have any,” said Umhlanga Tourism chairperson, Jeannie Sarno.

The fair takes place at The Sharks Board on February 19 from 09:00 to 12:00.

“Come and enquire about anything tourism related and network at the same time,” said Sarno.

Establishments in Durban North, uMhlanga, uMdloti, La Mercy, La Lucia, Mount Edgecombe, Verulam, Tongaat, and Westbrook are invited.
