Vehicle ploughs into technicians near Greenwood Park
Two men were seriously injured after being knocked over by a vehicle while repairing a traffic light near Mimosa Road, Greenwood Park today.
THE vicinity of Mimosa Road in Greenwood Park was like a scene out of a movie as paramedics worked to stabilise two seriously injured men earlier today.

Garrith Jamieson, ALS Paramedics spokesperson, said the two men were knocked over by a vehicle whilst working near Mimosa Road just before 09:00.
“ALS Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the two men with multiple injuries and began to stabilise them using multiple Advanced Life Support techniques. Once both men were stabilised they were loaded into ALS Paramedics ambulances before being rushed to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required,” he said.
According to Jamieson, it is alleged that the men were repairing the traffic light at the intersection when a vehicle knocked into them.
“SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further,” he added.
