Umhlanga business hosts inspiring networking event

The event, held at Hirsch's Umhlanga, also served its usual purpose as a vibrant networking space, where local business owners and professionals could connect, share ideas, and build valuable relationships within the community.

MENTAL wellness took centre stage at Hirsch’s Umhlanga during their recent bi-monthly networking event, where renowned Transformational Life and Mindfit Coach Sharon Castle delivered an empowering talk to a packed room of entrepreneurs and professionals.

Focusing on the theme of mindset and emotional well-being, Castle urged attendees to break free from the cycle of insecure thinking and constant worry.

“People are trying to find ways to get their lives together,” she said. “They need to trust who they are. Happiness should be the foundation of our lives. You already have everything you need to be happy.”

Castle’s message, that emotions are a reflection of one’s thoughts, struck a chord with the audience and sparked an engaging and interactive discussion. Many attendees left feeling inspired and equipped with practical tools to shift their thinking and approach life with renewed clarity and confidence.

When I am not penning the latest human interest piece, crime or municipal bit, and occasionally a sports update, you can find me in the place I love most – at home with my beautiful family – cooking up a storm, soaking up the sun with a gin and tonic in hand or binge-watching a good series or documentary.
