Support PinkDrive high tea in uMhlanga
Proceeds will fund PinkDrive's free screenings and a new mammogram truck. Last year's event raised R25 000, and the aim this year is to double that.
IN celebration of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PinkDrive invites the public to the Hope Blooms High Tea on Friday, October 25 at 11:00 at the Radisson Blu Umhlanga Conference Hall.
The event promises floral elegance, motivational speakers, a live auction, and fundraising to support PinkDrive’s vital work.

“Hope Blooms reflects the courage and renewal of the breast cancer journey. Through awareness and support, hope always finds a way to grow,” said Janice Benecke of PinkDrive.
PinkDrive is a non-profit dedicated to prolonging lives through early detection of gender-related cancers. Their iconic pink mobile health units travel to rural and township areas to provide free screenings, including mammograms and clinical breast exams, to underserved communities. Recent outreach in KwaZulu-Natal delivered over 2200 health services in one week alone.
Guest speakers include Dr. Marion Algar, clinical oncologist at Hopelands Cancer Centre, and Advocate Pria Hassan, founder of Women of Africa, both champions of breast cancer awareness and accessible healthcare.
The event will be hosted by Mrs SA 2024 finalist Delia Kroll, and there will be refreshments, networking, raffle prizes, gift bags, and a live auction.
Tickets are R695 per person, with 10% of proceeds going directly to PinkDrive. Dress code is floral. Bookings can be made at info.durban.umhlanga@radissonblu.com.
